The website for the 'International Fortean Film Festival' is now home to a network of varied film festivals and awards competitions, with one common aim - to provide affordable and non-elitist platforms to promote independent film and support independent cinema.

While the Global INDIE Filmmaker Awards are not IMDb listed as a standalone event at present, all film submissions here will be automatically listed within a special category in its IMDb approved sister festival, the MegaFlix Film Awards, as part of the affiliated festivals agreement. This means that all submissions to the Global INDIE Filmmaker Awards will be eligible to be listed on IMDb, upon publication of the award listings of the MegaFlix Film Awards at the end of each of its annual seasons.
